The NSW Roads and Traffic Authority, now the Roads and Maritime Services, introduced the Compulsory Rider Training Scheme in 1990.  The program is available to approximately 95% of the population of NSW.

LATE AFTERNOON AND EVENING PRE-LEARNER COURSES UNDER FLOOD LIGHTING ARE AVAILABLE AT SOME CENTRES.

The Scheme is sponsored by the NSW Government and administered by Roads and Maritime Services. The training is delivered by private Contractors.
WHEEL-SKILLS has been one of those Contractors since 1994 and are currently assigned the responsibility by Roads and Maritime Services to deliver training and testing in the following 7 areas:

Tuggerah in the Central Coast Region
Coffs Harbour in the Mid North Coast Region
Lismore in the Far North Coast Region
Tweed Heads in the Far North Coast Region
Tamworth in the North West Region
Armidale in the New England Region and
Unanderra in the Illawarra Region

If you live outside the above areas we are most happy to attend to your rider training needs.
You may book into a course at any of the centres we operate - just nominate your preferred location when booking with RMS.
